Disbandment

The Sapphire Oath arrives in Argil, says goodbye to Lord Sapphire and Joubert, and take their name.

Entering into Argil's northern Harbor, goodbyes were said between Lord Sapphire and the trio of Marduk, Beatle, and Ravel. The sorcerer would be taking Dario Rebić up on their offer to get into a more prominent social position in Argil while the trio continued on their adventurous ways. This parting would not be forever though, and the companions took a name for themselves that would guarantee it: the Sapphire Oath.
  The trio left the port for the final leg of Samuel Joubert's escort to the temple of the Mighty Light. Entering into the eternally lit cathedral, the companions found themselves not only buttressing Joubert's claims but his social confidence in general. Despite his fluster, the presentation of a religious relic did not take long to upgrade the companions from talking to a lesser priest to being announced within the domed chamber of the Beacon of the Morn, the high priest of the temple. Shining with light, the spike haired aasimar accepted the unconventional audience.
  Beatle took the role of herald by performing an ode in reverence to Beacon before presenting Joubert. Joubert put forth his scripture of Sol with the context of it being a document of the old gods before their aspects were divided into the light and dark halves. The Beacon had the golden scaled dragonborn attendent collect the tome for cursory perusal before accepting both the relic Joubert himself into the cathedral's possession. The old priest would be welcome in the cathedral as long his repentence required. Once his soul was whole once again, he would be free to stay or conveyed to where ever his path took him. The attention then went from the priest to the companions. For their service to the church, they were asked what the Sapphire Oath would request for such a service.
  Beatle took his shot at asking out the Beacon which they promptly put a hold on, stating that any suitors would be from within the faith. If Beatle could not commit, the chances were null. Another joking answer of “But three hairs from your golden head” was diverted from the Beacon to Aritay, their hand servant. With this, the golden dragonborn presented each companion with a blessed scale that provide. The Beacon agreed stating that should something be within their power, a blessing would be set aside for the Sapphire Oath in the future.
  Saying their goodbyes to Joubert as well this day, the Sapphire Oath took advantage of their time within Argil. The companions took some time to sell some of their collected goods and make some purchases. Both Beatle and Ravel upgraded their armor with Beatle gathering some Argilian studded leather white Ravel managed to find some imported , vine engraved reinforced leather from Anrand Glad. Marduk would later on find the front house of the AGEP Auxiliary Goods to purchase a specialized component to aid in future possible monster hunts: alchemical silversheen. The Oath learned that the facility was always looking for people to gather resources for their craft but the companions passed on the immediate job. After their shopping was finished, the companions were pointed to a few places to stay for the next coming days. Meeting up in the evenings, the companions would spend their next days seeing to their own needs and activities.
