Myska's Menagerie root around an olding ghost town to see what they can find.

The next day, the companions made a full flight Silver Field. Using the old ghost towns as hubs, they would search them for possible evidence of Temperance Shards. As the Astrid got more skilled at flying the craft, her and Chupta's days became more separated. For this one-day flight, Chupta took the first half with Astrid taking the second. As they approached, the plan was to do a low flyby down the length of the towns central road for a quick divination scan to attempt to Locate Temperance Shards.
After the pass through was down, the vessel was landed for an in-person search of the area. The remains of Silverfield contained standing homes, collapsed buildings, singular walls, porches, and carts. Broken equipment was left around and the scraps of emptied bags where caught up in rodent nests. A few hours was spent as the sun drooped in the sky as they searched for evidence to trail them on to future searches. One of the few treasures found was a coffer of money lost in the wreckage of a building.
Millie spent some time rutting up old pots and managed to collect four that were either whole or good enough for simple mending magic to fix. Heading to the graveyard, the gnome dug up a few skeletons to pack up for future use if needed. They weren't using the bones after all. He also collected some of the grave earth into the jars.
The highlight of the investigation happened when Crush was roaming the spaces between the lifted buildings. Some of the desert mice were overtaken by his fungus and they urged him to look under one of the buildings. Down there he saw a withered corpse that had likely crawled down there to die. Forming a rut under the edge of the building, Crush burrowed under enough for him to reach the corpse despite his size. It had something preciously clutched in it's arms. Wrenching it free, Crush found a broken pickax whose handle was dry rotting away.
Pulling the item out into the dim light of dusk, he found that it was a black metal with an oily purple and green sheen. The material was familiar but he couldn't place it. Taking it to Millie, the gnome identified it as adamantine, the same metal that had bound his chest that had been given to Hrathlnax.
The companions would spend their night outside Silver Field. The next day they would follow a similar tactic of a two part flight down to Tombmesa for the next location.
