The Trius Ziggurat
Also known as the Grand Ziggurat, the Trius Ziggurat was originally created by the cult of Xarinus, to act as a gateway from Rex Mortis to Corporations of Malyk. With the magic and corruption of the building dispelled, it is now used as the Imperial Building of the Council of Midara in Ishtalot.
Construction and Life of their Stewards.
It was said that the architect of the Trius Ziggurat was named Imward Elston, an Ancient, during the Age of Chaos (second age). During that time, the cult strove to understand the secrets of death. Eventually, this Ziggurat was claimed by La'Serra Blight, in which the cultists bowed in fear, swearing fealty. The cultists were defeated and killed by adventurers near the beginning of the Steel Revolution Era (third age) when the are was abandoned at the start of the Hexadraconic War.Formation of the Council of Midara
In the Steel Revolution Era, as the dragon tyrants were starting to be brought back and a human-led government started to become reality, three people, Iranis of Ishtalot, Melga of Waldensteel, and Reysin of Galemont, met in the Tirus Ziggurat and decided and drafted the Trius Concord, which was the first draft on the constitution of the Council of Midara.Modern Use
With the influx of technology, brought about by the advent of Electricity, the Ziggurat became old fashioned surrounded by modern day architecture. A dome was built around the Trius Ziggurat, accessible by the Magnetic Elevator at the top of the dome. The building itself continues to be used as the location the council continues to meet, although the walls and structures have been renovated many times, not fully being made of the same stone that once held the foundation of the structure.Remove these ads.
