Jomsvikingar

The Jomsvikingar are a powerful band of Astari warriors based on the island of Jom in Jutland. They are under the command of Jarl Sigvaldi Strutharaldson and they are considered so powerful that King Solvi Hrolfson of Jutland is unable to collect taxes from them. Unlike other warbands, they function more like a military unit. This includes displaying more organization and discipline and wearing the same clothing and armor. Their distinctive weapon is a dark single-bladed axe with an eye pattern engraved on the head.
