The Star Gods of the Gemini

Forged in the cosmic fire in the primordial flame, the star gods are creatures born from divine matter and celestial energy. They are one of the first godly races created by the Forge Lords and have created their own progeny in the form of the Gemini. While they are able to take any form they wish, in their true state they are mountainous creatures of pure energy. To look upon a star god is to see a creature of divine light, with eyes that burn everbright with a fragment of the all giving flame. They radiate with a candescence so great that normal morals cannot perceive them with naked eyes.
The original purpose of the Star Gods was to help maintain and assist the Forge Lords in the creation of the cosmic expanse. Each Star God had their own role for that purpose but eventually the Forge Lords left for the cold beyond, taking many of the Star Gods with them. The Star Gods that were left behind continued their roles but like the other gods many became unsatisfied and started to fight with the other gods to determine who should control the now leaderless universe. The Star Gods that were still loyal to the Forge Lords and wanted to protect the universe fought to stop the war instead. The Star Gods fought across many realms, many dying or being sealed away in the process. When the war was over there were only a few Star Gods left.
After the godclave, the remaining Star Gods came together and observed the rise of mortal kind. Some did not see much value in mortals but the rest believed that they held great potential. The Star Gods created the Gemini, a weaker and mortal fragment of themselves. They pledged to guide these young stars so that one day the Gemini may rise up to join them in the heavens to become new Star Gods. The Star Gods also lend their guidance to other mortal races should they truly ask for it.
The Star Gods generally align with the forces of good with some taking a more neutral stance. They all seek to protect the universe from any more harm. The Gemini worship many of the Star Gods, seeking their guidance and wisdom during their lives.
