The Mithral Hall

Located in the largest mountain in the Ironfoot Mountains, Fourthpeak, the Hall is the closest thing The Mror Holds has to a capital. Mining out of this Hall started in ~1800 FrA and is the oldest dwarf stronghold still in use. Originally, dwarves were draw to the mountain because of the rich Mithral veins in the mountain. in ### ScA (700 years ago) the deepest veins broke into The Shadow Plane and the Great Wyrm Shadow Dragon Shimmergloom was released into the mine. The Dragon and a horde of shadow creatures drove the dwarves out of the Hall in a 200 year diaspora, Duskdays . In the final years before reclaiming the Hall, the dwarves began The Illumination on Shimmergloom's shadowy forces. Ultimately, 11 legions of dwarves laid siege to The Mithral Hall in (calculate correct year)#### ScA to vanquish Shimmergloom. When The Iron Council meets, which is often, they meet in the Hall.
