Wanting to uphold justice in every sense that the Aureus believed means having to go a little over the top to demonstrate to everyone what happens when you break the laws. the first generation of Aureus implemented a new role for one chosen member of their family to fill in the community called "The Hand of Tyr" signifying that they dealt out the law and justice for the God Tyr. Each generation after of Aureus had a new Hand chosen. This role is more commonly known as the executioner. It was The Hand's job is to perform the executions of those who break the law any way that they deem fit. Originally they were the truth seekers having a deeper insight into a person's morals and giving the crook a final chance at mercy, but every Hand is different which is also why every Hand commissions a personal weapon to deal their executions with.
