Ne'olia, Demigoddess of Youth and Joy

Ne'olia, also called Charm, was the younger daughter of Robanus and Madora, and the sister of Lust. Once worshiped alongside Lust, Ne'olia went missing during the War of Twilight Last, and her faithful were co-opted by her sister’s clergy.    She is known as a former lover of Mittierim, and as the creator of Wine. In the 3rd age, Ne'olaia has been released from the prison that Lust had her trapped in, and has begun building her cult to oppose her sister.

Divine Domains

Youth, Joy, Laughter, Innocence and Wine

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The main Symbol of Ne'olia is the dove flying against the sun. Often the dove is showing holding grapes or roses to represent the goddess's connection to wine or children.

Tenets of Faith

The primary tenets of the faith of Ne'olia is the spreading of Joy and the protection of the young and innocent. The followers of Ne'olia are called to be easy going and quick to laugh making friends will all they can. The main exception to this is those that would abuse or exploit children. The militant members of the church, led by the Paladin Order of the Scarlet Mummers, are quick to express the anger of their goddess on those that harm the innocent.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Currently, the main goal of the Church of Ne'olia is to grow its membership. The Goddess herself travels the world to recruit particularly promising new priests.    Once the church has rebuilt its strength, the Goddess wishes to punish her sister for imprisoning her and stealing her worshipers. But Ne'olia is aware that Lust's church has nearly a millennium of growth over hers and does not wish to rush into a conflict she is sure to lose.    In the Southern land of Trigelle, the new founded church of Ne'olia has formed a close connection with the returned Church of Coronal which provides both churches additional support as they reemerge into the 3rd age.
