Seras (God of Pain, Suffering and Vengence)

Seras was once known as Jhonus the god of Life, Law and Honor. He was corrupted by the All-Father and became his instrument of death during the Purge. This warped and twisted Jhonus, who chose to embrace his new power as Seras god of Pain.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

: Most of the rituals of Seras revolve around the sacrifice of innocents. The most important of these is the Ritual of Empowerment. This ritual can only be performed on the night of the new moon. An innocent must be obtained and sacrificed. This is done in a very specific manner beginning by removing the sacrifices skin and slowly slicing apart the internal organs in a manner known only to priests of Seras trained in Religion. Tenets of Faith

The priesthood of Seras believes that the only true power in the world is the ability to cause pain to others. To priests of Seras no slight is ever forgiven and there need be no limit on how those that stand against Seras should suffer. They measure the worth of their priests by the ability to inflict and to suffer pain. Their view of reality is that all things stem from pain and suffering and it is only those that can claim the power of pain have any true worth. The priests of Seras have a particular hatred for those of Omadon and seek to punish them for their master's attempted murder of Seras. The holy symbol of Seras is a black scourge.
