Tarathenelia, the Stargazer. Goddess of Magic
Tarathenelia was one of the most powerful Wizards ever known on Meaghana. She originally claimed the Soul Well of Magic to protect and hide it away, in the years following the Great War she was forced, by Hosia, to claim her Divinity and begin working to defend the balance as all the other Gods.
Tarathenelia is the only greater Goddess that did not predate the existence of the world, and so one would argue that she holds a better view of the Mortal world that her contemporaries.

Tenets of Faith
The Followers of the Stargazer (as many call themselves) see the protection and proliferation of the magical arts to be their primary focus. Tarathenelia herself believes that the power of magic is something that is beyond even the Gods themselves and sees herself as more a steward or custodian of the power than being in control of it.
Her priests try to expand magical knowledge and recover that which was lost. Many of her priests are former or concurrently wizards and they do not see much difference between wizardly or clerical magic.
Tarathenelia also sees herself as a teacher of life’s harsher truths. Her service will provide a worshiper with wisdom, but it is a hard fought wisdom that exposes the failings of the mortal world as well as its glories. The one great hatred that the Stargazer and her priests share is against the Daemons and Devils. They recognize both groups as dangerous and foul and will work to destroy them in encountered.
