The Church of the Stargazer
Structure
The head of the Church of the Stargazer is known as the Primus and oversees all activities of the Church in the world. The Primus is situated in the Grand Cathedral in Drem and is commonly said to be the most powerful spellcaster on Meaghana.
Below the Primus is the Concilio Secundi four priests who oversee four different facets of the church's interest. These areas are named after the suits of the Tarot Deck (a common fortune telling tool on Meaghana). These priests, called Secundus, support and advise the Primus and recieve reports from the heads of each individual temple. These temples are run by a four priest group called the Tersus, each one of which is responsible for one of the areas of interest like the Secundi.
Secundus of Cups:
The Secundus of Cups oversees the relationships and connections of the Church. Often seen as the diplomats of the Stargazer's faithful, this Secundius is not only responsible for keeping the peace within the church and handling the integration of worshippers with widely different alignments, but also deals with other religions and political entities that the Church needs to form relationships with. The Tersus of Cups deals with these matters on the scale of a single temple and all report to the Secundi of Cups in Drem.
Secundi of Pentacles
The Secundi of Pentacles deals with the Church's materials. In addition to dealing with the offerings and wealth of the church, this Secundi also oversees the collection and cataloging of magical good and books recovered by the faithful. The Tersus of Pentacles handles the same responsibility on the level of a single temple.
Secundi of Swords
The Secundi of Swords oversees the defense and military action of the Church. The Secundi of Swords is responsible for the protection of the Church's people and property and any aggressive activity that the Primus decides is needed. The Tersus of Swords oversees these matters on the level of a single temple.
Secundus of Wands
The Secundus of Wands oversees the knowledge of the Church. This Secundus is responsible for the maintenance of the church's lore and religious teachings and oversees the ordaining of new priests. This secundus also oversees the churches support of Wizard's schools. The Tersus oversees the same things at the level of a single temple.
Below these levels the church is broken up in to master/apprentice relationships, where each priest is judged by their knowledge and mastery of the arcane and clerical arts. This makes the base of the chuch much less structured than the upper ranks.

Public Agenda
The primary public agenda of the Church of the Stargazer is the protection and furthering of the magical arts. The church as a whole does not put any moral or ethical restrictions on the use or practice of magic, but they do recognize the threat that frightened commoners can prove to the general practice of magic. As such, they tend to more openly support responsible uses of magic within the civilized lands of Lerias, while keeping their support for darker magics away from poulation centers.
The second item of the church's agenda is the prevention of demonic and diabolic influence in the material plane. While not as organized as the Robanan inquisition, the church of the Stargazer spends significant time and energy stopping the summoning of such infernal creatures and destroying them where they are found.
