The Magecity of Drem
Center for magical study on Lerias, the Magecity of Drem is poised to rise to new heights in the 3rd age. Controlling land that have become a trade point between Fetesca, Arakeen and Eastforge, Drem has access to wealth and prestige that it has never achieved before.
Demographics
The majority of the populace of Drem are humans, but the city welcomes all who possess magical knowledge to live within its walls. It has the highest concentration of Wizards of any country. In the wilds surrounding the city are also the tribes of Lynxan.
Government
Drem is ruled over by a Council of Archmages. These mages choose a speaker from amoungst their number to head the council and serve as head of state for Drem.
Defences
The Magecity is divided into sections by walls and Wizard gates. These gate prohibit passers through unless they possess a certain level of magical power. This keeps the center of the city reserved for powerful magic users.
Industry & Trade
Drem Trades often with Fetesca, as well as Arakeen and Eastforge. Furthermore, significant wealth is brought to the city by foreign wizards who travel here to train.
Guilds and Factions
Each school of magical study has a guild within the city, which compete for power and prestige. Also the Church of the Stargazer serves as a major neutral power within the city and gains significant wealth and power from those who petition them for favors.
Outside of the city, the Druidic order struggles to retain the power and significance it once held. Its only stronghold is the Druid's grove of Keltria in the western forest of land.

Geography
The Northern most country of Lerias, the lands surrounding Drem are harsh
plains and small mountain ranges. The Southern reaches of the land give way to
deciduous forests, and the lands of the Druidic Order.
The Climate of Drem is one of harsh cold winters and short mild summers. This has toughened the people of Drem and the surrounding lands.

Natural Resources
Drem has few natural resources that are tapped by its people. The magical wealth of the city assures that Drem is able to trade for almost everything it needs.
