First colony of Rai'jen is founded.

Since the founding of the Rai’jen, a main focus of the Temple of the Distant Fire was to spread the worship and reverence of the Phoenix Emperor through the Sea of Shards. One of the most successful of the priests in this regard was Brother Hama, a travelling priest who focused on the southern villages of the people of Goshin.
  The Goshinites were people of Ritsakan blood who lived under the rule of the Gnomish Protectorates before that land fell. Brother Hama brought the worship of the Phoenix Emperor back to these people and gained a huge following among them. He brought these people to Rai’jen and received permission from Lord Hashimoto to sail out and settle an island as a holding of Rai’jen for his followers to live. His followers named their new island home after the priest and so it came to be known as Hamaken, and it became the first settlement of Rai’jen off of the mainland.
