Life, Achievement/ Win
War with Arakeen proves to be a feint for Cylence Coldeyes to increase her personal power.
In the year 120, Cylence Coldeyes commanded the Red Pike tribe of Hobgoblins to strike deeply into the lands of Arakeen. The following year turned into a very bloody conflict between the Hobgoblins and the forces of Arakeen.
However, to Cylence the war was just a feint. She used it as a cover to allow for a large caravan to travel from Darkport to Dragon’s Flight. This caravan was a diplomatic envoy to the Blue Dragons of that land.
While Cylence knew that through the actions of Menlok the dragon god, Omadon held no more control over the chromatic dragons, she still desired their service and the power that they could bring to her land.
The dragon lord Verlathkrial, spoke to Cylence on behalf of his people. Their pride still stung from the servitude that Omadon had placed on them, the dragons refused to serve Darkport directly. However, Verlathkrial proposed another pact: For a significant payment of wealth and jewels, the blue dragons would be willing to mate with the noble women of Darkport creating a loyal force of Half-dragon warriors that Cylence could do with as she wished.
Lady Cylence was intrigued by this offer and the power that it promised her. With the unpredictable allegiance of the Hobgoblins proven by their last betrayal, she desired above all things a race of unquestioning, powerful servants to increase the power of Darkport. And so she agreed.
Verlathkrial accepted the first payment and put one additional stipulation on the deal. Cylence herself, would have to acquiesce to be the first female mated, and she would bear the children of Verlathkrial, himself. Cylence, thinking of the power to be gained by merging her blessed strength with the blood of dragons, quickly agreed.
Cylence was quickly impregnated, and soon gave birth to twin sons of Verlathkrial, whom she named Raze and Ruin. Exceedingly pleased by this outcome, Cylence quickly moved to select the proper noble women to be bred to the dragons and to gather the wealth the creatures demanded for each breeding.
