Darkport
Darkport is the single most feared place on the continent. The center of the worship of Omadon, God of Strife, Darkport is a place no decent person on Lerias would ever wish to find themselves. It is however, a major power on the eastern coast of the continent, and its influence spreads through out much of the rest of Lerias due to its network of spies and infiltrators.
Demographics
There are three main races in Darkport: Humans, Hobgoblins and Half-dragons. A smattering of other races exist as well, since Darkport is a refuge for outcasts and villains of all races.
Government
The Rule of Omadon is ultimate
law, and his will is carried out through his
servant Cylence Coldeyes. Though seemingly
human Cylence has not aged a day since the
Great War. As such she is regarded with near
religious awe by the people of Darkport.
However she does not allow worship of
herself to take root in the city. Omadon is the
god of Darkport, and none others are
allowed before him.
Industry & Trade
Darkport trades slaves with Aktannia
and Northreach, and relies on raiding through
the Sea of Shards for most everything else.
Guilds and Factions
The most powerful faction in Darkport is the Church of Omadon. All others in the city bow before the dark priests. Beyond them, the city is rife with guilds for thieves, assassins, slavers and a variety of other foul occupations.
Geography
Located on the Southwestern
shore of the Sea of Shards, Darkport is an
inhospitable land. Many say that it is the
perfect land for its master Omandon and his
Strife Lord Servitor, Lady Cylence Coldeyes.
Much of the population is focused around the
capital of Darkport and the several small
mining communities that support the city.
The Climate of Darkport is very rainy and wet. A near permanent murk has settled itself upon the land as if the country itself draws upon the darkness of its inhabitants. As such there is limited amount of farming available in the country and so they rely on raiding and money from OmadonianÊs world wide to support the land.
