Brandon Stark

Lord Brandon Stark (a.k.a. Bran, The Three-Eyed Raven)

Bio

Early Life and the Journey North

Born in 289 AC to Eddard and Catelyn Stark, Brandon "Bran" Stark was the second son of the noble House Stark of Winterfell. A curious and adventurous child, Bran loved climbing the walls of Winterfell, dreaming of knights and battles. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he was pushed from a tower window by Jaime Lannister, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

Becoming the Three-Eyed Raven

Bran's quest for answers about his fall and his strange visions led him north beyond the Wall, accompanied by his loyal friends Meera and Jojen Reed, and Hodor. There, he met the Three-Eyed Raven, who trained him to harness his warging abilities and the power of greensight. Bran became the new Three-Eyed Raven, inheriting centuries of knowledge and the ability to see into the past, present, and future.

A New Path

After the defeat of the Night King and the subsequent resolution of the war for the Iron Throne, with Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow ruling Westeros, Bran chose a quieter path. Realizing his place was not in the political machinations of the realm, Bran decided to return to the Neck, to live with Meera Reed and her family in the swamps of Greywater Watch. The mystical and ever-moving castle of the Reeds became his home, where he could remain close to nature and continue his spiritual journey.

Life in the Neck

Bran and Meera lived a secluded yet fulfilling life in the swamps. Rarely did they venture out of the Neck, preferring the tranquility and isolation Greywater Watch provided. They raised children together, passing down stories of their adventures and the ancient lore of the Children of the Forest. Every ten years, Bran and Meera made a pilgrimage to Winterfell to visit Queen Sansa and her children, maintaining the Stark family bonds.

Aging Gracefully

By 400 AC, Bran was over a century old but retained the appearance and vitality of a man in his thirties, a testament to the mystical powers he wielded. The years had been kind to him, but the inevitable passage of time claimed Meera, leaving Bran to live with their grandchildren in Greywater Watch.

The Final Disappearance

In 406 AC, a devastating event occurred: the Children of the Forest, ancient allies of Bran and the Reeds, were slaughtered by the Free Folk and the North. This act severed a deep, mystical connection that Bran held with the ancient beings. Shortly after, Bran vanished without a trace, leaving behind his Stark family in Winterfell and going with his grandchildren and the mysterious Greywater Watch.

After the War of Winter, when Dany and Jon took the Throne, Bran decided his place was with the remaining Children of the Forest and Lady Meera, so he moved and lived within the swamps of the Neck, with House Reed, rarely being seen over the next century, except when he'd visit Winterfell with House Reed to visit his sister Queen Sansa.
