Felgrove Fort
Felgrove Fort is near the Dark Forest and until Eiorian Year 1151 was in disrepair. It is now being in use because of the war.
Purpose / Function
This building was created by orcs to defend their hometown from invasions from other places such as the Zamalia Dynasty. When the Zamalia Dynasty took over the fort they repurposed it to be able to better offend against dragons and the Kingdom of Criallend.
Alterations
Many of the spikes have been removed and made to look more Zamalian rather than an orc fort. And an inclusion of a dungeon to keep prisoners.
Architecture
Mixture of orc and Zamalian archtecture. The building is made out of brimstone and recently the wood has been renforced with iron. The fortress is 200 ft long.
Defenses
Heavy walls with places for archers to stand and shoot at those entering. There is a portacless to let people enter and exit. along with a drawbridge and moat.
History
This fort was orignoaly created by orcs to stop the Zamalia Dynasty when they expaned their realm and left the underdark. The orcs failled and were sweeped under Zamalian rule and they used it for any attacks that Criallend would put on them incase they made it past the dark forest. They of course changed the archetchture to make it more "Appealing to Loth."
During the War of Magi it was attacked and destroyed a good amount of the fort making it unusable. The Emorer after the war was over desided that she did not want to use money to rebuild a fort rather that working on her people and so she left it to ruin. Interestingly though the year right before the war started Felgrove Fort was rebuilt and reinforced.
