Zamalia (Za-mal-e-uh)
Zamalia is mainly a Matriarch Society. They have since their founding been ruled by a Emperor. And that emperor has always been a Drow. Not much is known about what goes on in Zamzilia as they are often secretive about what happens. While there are other species such as teiflings and orcs Drow tend to the the ones in more powerful positions. While they don't live in the under dark their part of the land isn't the richest to where they'll often have to have goods shipped in to make ends meet at places like Rigver Port. As hard working is needed to maintain the Dynasty there isn't much time for people of knowledge. Those who have the time to learn are often the rich.

The last names instead of it being past through the lines of the fathers they are past through the lines of the mothers. Males often take the names of the females when they are united in marriage.

The rich are burried in family tombs. Those who can afford it are burried in graveyards are given tombstones with their names on it while those who can't are put in a large hold under the ground. Any important event is carved in stone weather in writting or in a statue.
