Bean Peak
On the middle of the Ice-crown Range, there is a twisted, strange mountain that looks like it comes out of another mountain, like a thorn on it's side. This strange, jagged rock is known as the Bean Peak, that is believed to be a remnant of a Floating Island, that crashed to the mountain range somewhere during the Fall of the Titans.
Bean Peak is known from its bewildering appearance and the confusing fauna and fauna that inhabit this strange, and rather secluded area.
Fauna & Flora
Name of the Bean Peak comes from the massive, heavy vines that curl around the mountainside, crowing beans in the size of a watermelon. These beanstalks can have a diameter over 7 metres, and they can be several hundred metres long. Despite the large size, the stalks do not produce many leaves or beans, as the rocky ground can only sustain certain amounts of life. Many of the beanstalks are dry and dead looking, but rarely dead but rather dormant, waiting for a rainy season to flourish for a short period of time.
The area is known from several giant- or otherwise unusual plants, including Cloud Bushes, shrubs that have particularly fluffy leaves and sweet berries. The leaves collect moisture and form fog around them, which eventually raise to the skies on warmer days, forming slithering streams of clouds.
Mountain has also a sizable population of giant animals, including giant goats and giant eagles.
History
Due to being hard to reach, sending explorers to Bean Peak has been difficult, but with little information that has been gathered, the mountain has been speculated to be a fallen down Floating Island, which was likely used as grounds for a palace and great garden by the giants that used to inhabit it. After falling down to the middle of the mountain range, what was left from those gardens started to spread and grow as a part of the local ecosystem.
The fluffy bushes are my favourite.
