Pearl of Nesrum
Unique title
Pearl of Nesrum is a special title given by the citizens of Nesrum to Salohri Aerlareth, from her efforts to better the lives of those in her community. Through her great efforts Salohri raised from poverty with her hard work and created the Precious Pearl Trading Company that has offered work and luxuries to people of Nesrum, and she has also done her very best to promote her home town in front of the court of the duke Kepeiros Naenelis.
Salohri has worked as a spokesperson to her community on several occasions, taken part in political discourse and made her best to offer good working conditions for local workers, driving the local guilds to better their positions and flourish. Her generosity towards the less fortunate of her community has not gone unnoticed, and it further elevated her position amongst the citizens of Nesrum. Salohri has become rather famous for her hands-on approach, where she is ready to get her hands dirty and work to fix issues, instead of trying to just buy herself out of them.
Title was bestowed to her during yearly harvest festivities, by the members of the city council. As a Pearl of Nesrum, she is now considered an honorary citizen by the local population.
Cultural Significance
The granted title has not only solidified Salohri Aerlareth's status among the citizens of Nesrum, it has made her and her Precious Pearl Trading Company gather increasing interest in the Archduchy of Spring Rise. This has had an impact to the local economic competition, and has spread the fine reputation of Precious Pearl Trading Company beyond the bounds of the Spring Rise.
