Salohri Aerlareth's name has become synonymous with success among the people of Nesrum. Starting her career humbly as a mussel farmer, Salohri has built herself a trade empire. All this she did while supporting the people of her home town Nesrum, which only a while ago was simply a measly village, but now stands as one of the biggest tradeposts in the Archduchy of Spring Rise.
Hardworking, loyal to her community and inventive, Salohri is considered a local hero, earning herself the title of Pearl of Nesrum.

Personal history
Salohri had humble beginnings in a lowborn family. She always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was hardworking, stubborn and curious. She dreamed of her childhood living in a big city, but her home Nesrum was simply a small, insignificant village back then. During her first 100 years or so, she tried several different business ventures to gather money and leave the small town behind, but sadly, none of those succeeded. But she persistently kept trying, even though her family seemed to have very little faith in her efforts.
However, Salohri got fascinated by the local Kythapiir Mussel farmers, after hearing the lucky incident of farmers finding Purple Pearl among their latest harvest. Such pearls are great fortune to the farmers and boost their sales, however, it was revealed to Salohri that local farmers did not have the means or funds to start and cultivate their mussels to farm pearls, as it could take decades before the pearls were formed and the cultivation might become truly profitable. Intrigued, Salohri started to study culturing pearls, and as her desperate attempt, she got herself her first patch of mussels and began to experiment.
For years Salohri required several jobs to maintain herself before she managed to strike gold with her efforts, and slowly, she was starting to get money from her mussels and first pearls. After a shaky start, she was able to take workers and grow a decently sized farm, and pay her workers generously. After decades of barely getting by, Salohri had a sustainable, constantly growing mussel farm, that was able to grow exponentially overnight due to the value of the Purple Pearls.
Instead of moving from her home town, Salohri used her wealth to better her business and help her home town to grow, and the wealth pouring in would soon make the Nesrum well known, and people were pouring in, homes and business would rise and the little village would become a bustling city. For her continued efforts to better her community, Salohri received the title of Pearl of Nesrum, and her Precious Pearl Trading Company is a large investor and owner of several businesses in the city.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Her efforts and her eagerness to succeed have made Salohri an influential businesswoman. She is known to have the ear of local trading guilds, city council and even the duke Kepeiros Naenelis himself. Her from-rags-to-riches story has inspired the new generation of entrepreneurs, and she has bettered the position of workers in her area.

Family Ties
Independent Salohri hasn't had intentions of getting married, but she has a daughter, Lonee, whose father is unknown to the public, as to girl herself. She has become very revered by the rest of her family, wherein in her early life, she was seen more as an outcast. Maybe, for this reason, she doesn't seem to be very close to any of her other relatives.
The Secret relationshipTo further her career and make sure that her business and the home city would flourish, Salohri ended up secretly making contracts with a powerful criminal organization known as the League of Eyes to get the organization off her back less than 100 years ago. This connection flourished into an unexpected relationship with her and the leader of the Eyes known as Larsian Stormstar, who is, with great likelihood, father of Lonee.
To keep the integrity of her business and herself, Salohri would very much appreciate that these past dealings and the relationship would never come to light.

History
As Salohri herself grew up in relative poverty, she has done her very best to make sure her precious daughter would have anything she would ever need and all the support she could get - and this hasn't always worked as wonderfully as hoped.
Lonee loves and admires her mother a lot and is a very talented young woman, but her mother's inability to keep boundaries for her has caused some backlash, as Lonee isn't particularly good at handling rejection or obstacles. This has become more apparent as Lonee has grown, and her mother has tried to steer her off from things that might hurt her, and Lonee hasn't taken this too kindly.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both mother and daughter have the entrepreneurial spirit and good work ethics, coupled with burning ambition. They both enjoy art and culture and finer things in life. Lonee is not quite as communal than her mother though, and Salohri could take a lesson or two from her daughter about how to relax and loosen up.
I especially like that she invested in her hometown and made it the bustling place she dreamed of traveling to.
