Profile
From a young age, Becky always felt pressure to succeed and achieve. This was self-inflicted as her parents were mostly laid back even though they both worked in high power careers. Her mother was a civil engineer, her father a corporate attorney. She idolized her mother, who seemed to be able to do anything she set her mind to: from her demanding career to her excellent cooking, to learning foreign languages, to being a great mother and housewife. She seemed to have it all, and Becky wanted to be just like her.
It is mainly because of Becky that the A&A Club started to operate more like a regular business. She saw the potential and took Jandor’s simple idea and helped built it into one of the most recognized brands in the small town of Greengale and surrounding area. Becky is sharp, decisive, and authoritative as well as brash and rude on many occasions. She speaks her mind, sometimes even when it’s inappropriate, but she's kind and caring, always wanting to do what's best for the group.
Despite her abrupt personality, everyone respects Becky. She handles the details and executes the plans. Jandor’s trust in her is well deserved and she works hard not to fail him or the others that put their faith in her. She puts a lot of pressure on herself to always get things right, and doesn't always feel worthy of the respect she receives.
Of all of the girls in the group, Becky has known Jandor the longest, and it is a well-known fact to all—except apparently Jandor—that she is attracted to him. Even though many of the other girls also have crushes on Jandor, there is an unspoken rule that only Becky is allowed to act on her attraction, though so far, she has received no reciprocity from the oblivious Jandor.
On Mendala, Becky learns that her friends have been separated and knows that it's up to her to bring them together. She'll stop at nothing to accomplish this. Because she has an extremely high acumen for digesting new knowledge, a trait she inherited from her mother, Becky is able to quickly understand the new world that she’s been thrown into but despite this often rails at its inconsistencies and complexities.
History
Becky and Jandor met in elementary school because they were both children that Mrs. Guardman took care of after school. Because of this, the two got to know each other over several years along with Wayne and they became a well known trio.
Though Becky started with just a crush on Jandor, after many years of spending time with him, her feelings became much deeper since as she learned different aspects of him, not just what others saw. Jandor respects Becky as one of the smartest people he knows. In his mind, she can come up with a plan for anything, and is the most reliable person when it comes to strategy. and organizing. This is why she the first person he recruits to the A&A club.
Despite having strong feelings for him, Becky has no idea how to express them since she doesn’t want to risk making their relationship awkward. She seems content with just waiting for Jandor to feel the same way. Since Jandor never seemed interested in dating anyone, she felt that this was the best option, though she’s often afraid someone might come and steal his heart.
History
Becky and Wayne became friends in elementary school when Mrs. Guardman used to babysit her along with Jandor after school. It was one of the few times Wayne wasn't with Ashley, so the trio became fast friends. This is probably the closest relationship Wayne has outside of his friendships with Ashley and Amber.
Despite this, Wayne and Becky aren't close on a person level. This is because Wayne tends to be emotionally guarded. Instead they developed more of a mutual respect for one another especially throughout middle and high school whenever they would work on school projects together and then later working together in the A&A Club. They learned to rely on each other and compliment each other's skill sets and they're both dedicated to getting the job done.
Because Becky knows she can often have a harsh and abrasive personality, she trusts Wayne to be the ‘face’ of the group and handle the interpersonal relationships with others since that’s what he excels at.
