Devotary of Vigor

The Devotary of Vigor act as the medical professionals for the church. Priests tend to the sick with traditional medicine and minor healing magic. Winged members of this devotary do research on new healing techniques, medicines, ingredients, and spells. There is a healing ward in most larger churches- meaning if someone is gravely injured in a small hamlet they must be transported to receive care.

Tenets of Faith

The Devotary of Vigor believes that through ingenuity, craft, and religion all ailments can be cured. They research endlessly attempting to find cures to diseases and new treatments for injuries.

Priesthood

Priests of Vigor have complete 10 years of research as a Winged member of the devotary, and have submitted a finding or discovery to the church. As such, they are highly knowledgeable individuals, with many of them having access to low level healing magic- but not all of them.

Gaining Wings

Prospective members of the devotary must attend a priest for 6 months as an assistant. During this time they will be asked to fetch ingredients from the Garden of Freyalise, participate in treatments and surgeries, and provide other help when needed.
