Personal history
The Osgood family funded much of the reinstated program on the condition that their youngest son was trained to lead the squad. While Ellrei has a lot of arcane talent, his people skills are lacking and thus Fara was selected to be the leader. Ellrei didn’t care but his family nearly withdrew their support for the program. He is considered the strategist of the group and second in command. He dabbles in alchemy and is particularly close with Cai. He received his runes at age eleven and bears the marks on his back and shoulders.
