Preeh's Gift
The belief of how the world came to be for the worshippers of the Totems faith and all its sub-beliefs.
It is said the world started as an empty shadow that lay behind the great darkness filled with collections of fragmented memories of a previous world where they swam freely within the Ahgrond, the Merani word for the void.
One of the memories took it upon itself to weave and sew the chaos into a garden singing a harmony of truth and stability, this memory later became known as Preeh the spirit of mercy and charity.
Slowly this song was woven into the world where creatures walk forming the barebones of the world.
Many of these memories were guided into the flora and fauna of the world, but some of them grew jealous of Preeh's work and sought to lay their own dominion onto the world, these memories have been known as the Oblivion the soulless forces of the world, the World Smiths the giant architectures of the world.
The Oblivion being the worst offenders of the natural order in unison separated their souls from themselves creating the Chinderin humanoid creatures that opposed the natural order and tampered with the creation of the world by building Shrines linking to the time before times causing the void to seep into this world.
This unbalanced garden led Preeh to burden herself too much on the stability of the world, for she was merciful and charitable to the spirits of the memories that had yet to find their place in the world took after Preeh and relieved the burden from her, this formed the nature spirits worshipped today, with the most common ones being the Eight Thorns: Searl the earth, Preeh the charity, Duagha the warmth, Nhetal the death, Lurnt the winter, Marduh the change, Odhun the time, and Shesire the dominant.
Shesire similarly tempted like the Oblivion sought to rule, she with her silver tongue convinced Preeh a charitable gift upon the Chinderin to relieve them of their accursed life and blessed into the arms of her nurturing nature.
Preeh being sworn to her merciful nature met forth with the first prophet of the Totems, Enara Lucha Dich.
Enara was struck by the words of a right and just world agreed, as she was named the first Mirran, a special change that would occur to all Chinderin who joined Enara's enlightenment.
And once the accompany of Mirran grew over the years Shesire led them in a great purge to eradicate the Chinderin, a deed none could say whether it was merciful or corrupt.
This left the world for the Mirran to roam in peace within the wilderness and the world was named Searl.
