Sahabi
Sahabi, the jinn of thunder and twin sister to Nijm, is worshipped in the faith of Nultenwas in the land of Sembar. During times of war, she is called upon to unleash her thunderous roar, striking fear into the hearts of their enemies and demoralizing them. It is believed that the rumbling thunder that follows her brother's lightning strikes is her voice, and the people offer prayers to calm her rage.
She has a multitude of cults that offer sacrifices to appease her and gain her favour. These sacrifices are often not willing, with their bodies being marked with cuts and branding of Sahabi as a tribute before they finally bleed to death upon whatever makeshift alter that is being used. These cults are not always punished by the law, with many places just calling it the natural way of life.
Sahabi is also known for her ability to bring life-giving rain to the parched desert lands, and the people offer prayers for her blessings during times of drought. She is said to have a fiery spirit and a fierce determination to protect those who honour her. It is believed that those who invoke her name with pure intentions will be granted her favour and that she will come to the aid of those in need, especially those who fight for justice and righteousness.
