Tieflings

Widely cut off from natural resources, they are extremely dissatisfied with their situation. They are goverened by an aristocratic Elite which is overseen by Lady Excellence.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tieflings are largely camparable to humans in terms of size and build. Their most defining features are the horns sprouting on their foreheads, as well as their tails, which can crow up to 1 meter long. The oft unnatural seeming coloration of their skins is hard to overlook: besides human skintones it can be in the range of violets, purples and reds, even to pitch black - all of this holds true for their hair as well. Their eyes are usually one solid color, and their teeth are on the sharper side, occasionally growing protruding canines.

Genetics and Reproduction

Tieflings reproduce sexually, with a gestation period of nine months.

Growth Rate & Stages

Same as their human counterpart.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Naming Traditions

Tiefling names fall into three broad categories. Tieflings born into another culture typically have names reflective of that culture. Some have names derived from the Infernal language, passed down through generations, that reflect their fiendish heritage. And some younger tieflings, striving to find a place in the world, adopt a name that signifies a virtue or other concept and then try to embody that concept. For some, the chosen name is a noble quest. For others, it’s a grim destiny.
