Alteration Field

The Alteration Field is the umbrella term for a set of barriers and edicts erected by Architect Himself. Their function is to separate Alézun'Teran and Nanmir'Ath on a metaphysical and astralphysical level.
The name is from the fact that only Nexus Realities within Nanmir'Ath have Alternate Realities, while Alézun'Teran have the Alteration Spheres.
Another reason is the belief that it is the cause of the Alternate Realities, though no concrete evidence has been brought forth to support it. Nonetheless, according to Guardian it is what causes the Firstborn of the Urh to splinter into Alteration Shadows whenever they descend to Nanmir'Ath Realities.
