Electricty is an Existential Force that is ingrained and interwoven into the Fabric of Reality. It is one of the keystones that are necessary for a fertile Existence where creation of both Matter and Life itself is possible.

A versatile force

Electricity is categorized as a natural physical phenomenon and it is one of the most versatile forces there is. It can be created both naturally and artificially and harnessing it is seen as a major achievement that is nearly on par on recreating fire. Civilizations will inevitably become dependent on the power it provides, no matter how it is extracted. It can also be dispersed and counteracted, either by various natural phenomenon or artificially so.

Easy to understand

It is comparably easy to understand its workings, especially so if one place it next to something as enigmatic as the Force of Ani. Its secrets are not too difficult to unveil and once you have gotten to know it, it will rarely surprise you. At least not on a fundamental level.

A physical force

Electricity is primarily a physical force and has thus an overwhelming presence within the Varzalh Sphere. Its presence in the Ametere Sphere is thus comparably small. On a physical level it is a firestorm, while it is nothing but an ember on the metaphysical.

Electricity Generation

Due to it being so interwoven into the Fabric of Reality, electricity can be generated in a wide variety of ways.
In nature, it is mainly generated between ice crystals among high-altitude clouds. Magnetically and chemically created electricity are more artificial pathways one may take.
And then there is the electricity that is created through alternative, enigmatic forces. For example, through the Force of Ani, certain Anishans with a Theme of Lightning is capable of generating electricity.

Electricity Manifestations

While electricity primarily manifests as a force of power that is usually invisible to the naked eye, it may manifest into more peculiar forms. Some of which may only exist in certain Realities and Realms that are possible due to certain quirks that are interwoven into its specific sheet of Fabric of Reality.

Volt Crystal

Probobly one of the most well-known manifestations known to those within Alézun'Teran, is Volt Crystal: Electricity in solidified — albeit highly volatile — form that grow in clusters, primarily under ground. Although rare, a majority of it can be found in Creastvkr and is highly desirable. While progress has been made in artificially growing them, the naturally occurring ones are seen as best quality.

Ball Lightning

Ball lightning is one of the most enigmatic phenomenon that is associated with electricity, and yet it has been observed at least a handful of times across all of Vael'Eteria.
Believed to be a cousin to Lightning, it is a spherical object that is usually seen during thunderstorms, though they fly about irregularly. Eventually, they explode and leave behind a faint smell of sulphur.

Spinning Lightning Cord

Spinning Lightning Cord is an enigmatic phenomenon that has only been observed in Velastia Terra. Appearing some time after unusually large thunderstorms, they will appear like cords of lightning a few dozen meters up in the air and will begin to spin like a propeller, while remaining static.
It usually only concern one, but as many as three has been observed. They vanish after a few minutes, slowly fading away and leaving behind a faint smell of sulphur.
