The Force of Ani
The Blood of the Anishans
An existential force
The Force of Ani is an intricate part of the Fabric of Reality and a subvariant of Sereoth.
It is classified as an Esoteric Existential Force, though its purpose in regards to the greater whole is poorly understood. What is understood is that it has a intricate connection with the Neiathi Species of Anishans: It is what connects them all on a deep metaphysical level. Not only is it the theorized source of their origin, but also their source of sustenance and sacred artforms, such as Utrustica.

Manifestation
Natural manifestation
Ani Force rarely manifests into physicality on its own outside of the Sanctum of Ani. It is whispered that it only does so where large amounts of Anishan blood has been spilled. Skeptical accounts say that Ani Force will manifest as pools of iridescent water; when it eventually dries up it will leave a thin layer of dried blood that glistens like flakes of rubies.

Standard manifestation
The standard manifestation of Ani Force is around Anishans when they summon an Utrustica; trusted documented witness reports describe it as having a translucent iridescence to it that move like smoke from a pyre. Some would compare it to a physical aura. Usually, however, it is invisible to the naked human eye.

Power Surges
Surges of the Ani Force that the Anishan calls forth is an outlier in regards to the latter. Ani Force Surges will manifest as translucent physical energy, usually with either a crimson or violet shade. These are performed for a variety of reasons:

- To summon an Utrustica of either rare complexity or something that stands outside their Alignments. Sometimes both.
- To call receive a vitality boost to either heal a damaged body or persist further against a powerful obstacle.
- To utilize the Force of Ani as raw energy for either offensive or defensive purposes, such as a beam of destructive energy or a strong shield to protect from an onslaught.
- Rarely has all three reasons been used in unison. If so, usually in the form of summoning advanced power armor that both heals the body and gives it strength, as well as creates a shield around it.

Unknown Origin
Aasking about the true origin of the Force of Ani will for the most part receive only dumbfounded stares as an answer. If it had any tangible origin outside of what could be simply answered with "Architect" then it has been lost due to the workings of the Amnesia Pulse.
Some do wonder if it had any connection to the being known only as Ani Chan, but no real answer there can be found.

Infinte — In Theory
It is believed to be a nigh-infinite force that cannot be replenished. At least in theory. In practice, for example, if an Anishan utilizes a power surge too long and without sufficient rests in-between, the Force of Ani will close its door in front of her, so to speak.
Only a trickle will get through the crevice between the doors that the Anishan can barely be sustained on. Subsequently, this forces the Anishan to enter a deep sleep — similar to a coma — to recuperate both metaphysically and physically.

Unknown Limits
The limits of the Ani Force are thus far for the most part unknown. Thanks to the great variety of Anishans and their Utrustica, it is theorized that Ani Force can create anything imaginable and unimaginable.

Creation of a Flame of Life?
One big aspect of this is heavily debated, however, and that is the creation of the Flame of Life. While the existence of the Miracle Born may be seen as proof of this possibility, many argue that it essentially is no different than any ordinary biological birth when it comes down to it.
So far, no records of any Anishans have been capable of creating a Flame of Life. It is said that mythical Ani Chan could but no real evidence of this exists, or if it has, it hasn't been found.
Others point to the fact that the Force of Ani is literally the supposed origin of all Anishan and by that logic should be more than capable of creating the Flame of Life. It can after all create matter out of seemingly nothing. What Anishans have to say about this is usually vague none-answers.
