Stranmys Weasel

General

The Stranmys weasel is believed to be native to Old Reminiscence and the Wilds of Creastvkr but migrated in early history to several Nexus Alterations, as well as Varldstan Cericor.

Highly adaptive

As one might guess, the weasel is a highly adaptive animal and specimens have been noted to have adjusted completely to new environments within three generations, even incredibly hostile ones. This is most likely due to it being from such a strange place as Old Reminiscence. They do however have a few preferences, such as damp mountains and untouched forested regions.

Anatomy

The defacto specimen of the Stranmys Weasel has reddish to greenish colored thick fur, large ears, and a short, dark-shaded snout. Their eyes are usually of the color yellow or purple-red.

Horn outgrowths.

One out of five specimens are born with a hard grey outgrowth on their foreheads, with the males usually having more pronounced ones than their female counterparts. They do not appear to use them either for defensive purposes nor offensive ones.
It is possible they play a part in the weasel's mating rituals but those without horn growth are just as likely to get a mate as those with one.

Magical Effects

One out of ten Stranmys Weasels are born with the capabilities of producing magical elemental effects, though the percentage might go down or up depending on the environment.
Usually, it varies between elemental fire effects and ice effects: they appear to be either on fire or coated in snow and ice.
Only the oldest of their kind are capable of using these effects as either a direct offensive or defensive action.
