Thevlac the 14th
Beast Tamer T the 14th.
General
The individual known as Thevlac the 14th is one of the older members of the Anvilites' Guild, having joined some thirty years prior to current times.
He grew up in Varldstan Cericor proper, but has spent much of his adult-years exploring Reminiscence and the Wilds of Creastvkr in search for beasts of various kinds. He is the one to ask if one wants to know about the beasts of Alézun'Teran, and may from time to time even offer hunting quests in exchange for money or information.
Personality
Personalitywise, Thevlac is usually quite grumpy but can from time to time tell an inappropriate joke to try and liven the air if it were to grow too tense. Sometimes, he might begin to talk about a certain beast he tamed once or mention trivial facts about an animal. Usually so when there is someone who would care to listen, but not always.
Wheelchair Bound
Something that will be hard for even a blind person not to notice, is that Thevlec is wheelchair bound, as he has lost both of his legs up to just above his knees. Apparently he lost them one really eventful journey to Reminiscence in an attempt to try and tame one of the more dangerous beasts in an already hostile realm. However, no concrete answers has been given, which has allowed rumors to run like wildfire, much to his displeasure.
Duties
Animal Tamer
Thevlec is a tamer of beasts and more ordinary animals, be they small or great in size. It is something he has done for countless years and he has made something of a name for himself in his ability to acquire certain fauna, no matter how dangerous they might be. Though he certainly has his limits, even if he denies it wholeheartedly.
Owner of a pet shop
Some years back, Thevlec opened a simple pet shop in the Anvilites' District, after several both within and without the Anvilites' Guild had requested pets and animals for various purposes from him.
In time, it has grown to a fine business and where it once was only him, it is now overseen by two assistants — a young man named Marto Karval and a younger girl named Garina Harti — that he takes care of and considers to be his adoptive children.
Physical
Appearance
Thevlac is an old, bald man with a long, dark grey beard that still has a few red streaks visible. He has a hawkish nose and a sharp jaw. A few of his yellowish teeth are missing, something that becomes apparent whenever he opens his mouth or gives away a broad grin.
Apparel
He is dressed in moth-eaten furs and a rather simple broad-rimmed hat that appears to be made from the skin of orange lizards, something that he denies wholeheartedly every time it is brought up.
Equipment & Items.
The wheelchair Thevlac uses is an improvised construction made by his assistant Marto Karval. Several of the other Guild Members have — and still do from time to time — offered to buy him a proper one but he denies them every time. Beyond the wheelchair, he also owns a simple blanket that he usually wears on his lap. He also has a restaining rope attached to the wheelchair's side, as well as a simple coin purse with change.
