The Misty Mountains

The Misty Mountains, also named the Hithaeglir, is the name given to the mountain range that runs 1280 kilometres (795.35 miles) from Mount Gundabad in the far north to Methedras in the south between Eriador and the valley of the Anduin and Rhovanion.
