1st Ranger Arequain Argon

1st Ranger of the Royal Ranger Corps Húriel

Born in the middle Third Age in 1390 T.A. as Húriel, Arequain's mother died in childbirth leaving her to grow up in a male influenced environment. Her father also taught her about plants and animals, and when her father was killed by Orcs while on a mission with Prince Cathandril she requested to take his place and become a ranger, having often felt more at home in the forest than in village life. Following years of dedicated service and numerous killed servants of The Shadow she has attained the rank of Knight Captain of the Royal Rangers; a core of rangers sent on behalf of the King on urgent missions. Taking a new name and leading a new all female detachment of snipers known as the "Knight-Witches" she aided the Fellowship of Renewal and in her younger days she befriended a fledgling ranger Nelladel.

1432 T.A.

Following the death of Fourth Prince Cathändril in 1411 T.A. Arequain Argon became the 1st Ranger of the Royal Ranger Corps, leading them to Victory in The Battle of Cameth-Brin.
