Hod
When the twins Baldur and Hod were born, only one opened their eyes. Hod was afflicted with eternal sleep. They laid his body witin the World Tree where he would remain asleep, locked within a prison of his creation called the "Dreamlands". Hod is the god of sleep, dreams, and nightmares and it is his realm you enter when you fall asleep at night. His plant, the mistletoe has been known to be used in drow poison for its strong effect to put people to sleep. Hod is a mysterious deity, whimsical like a dream, who's motivations remain greatly unknown.
Depiction. He has been depicted inconsistantly among many sources, but most commonly is depicted as a star clad child.
Worshippers. Many fear Hod for his mysterious nature but his value is celebrated among oracles and prophets as well as a devout sept that dedicates itself to "Hod, the Dream Lord".
