Duke/Duchess

The title of duke is given to some of the highest positioned individuals within the empire. They are given controll of cities and have standing armies and their disposal.

Qualifications

The title is given by the emperor to those he deems worthy and able to control the people. Only nobility has been given the title.

Duties

The Duke controlls an area, making sure there is defenses, taxes are collected and infrastructure is built. This is done through having a small council of individuals that deal with the matters at hand.
