Career Progression
Apprentice - The new youngsters train from early age in a series of tests determined by their environment and species. This is the most physical-intensive part of the Clawstopper's training and roughly a third of all applicants drop out in this stage.
Junior - Clawstoppers at this stage have gone through the required physical training and have proven themselves strong and tough enough, yet now their training progresses in a different direction. They have to learn all the laws and common procedures of their land, show adaptability and are assigned to simple guard duties or as backup in bigger operations with their Senior colleagues to watch and learn. The Junior stage ends when the individual earns their tattoo.
Senior - Senior Clawstoppers are entrusted with the tattoo of Clawstopper on their left shoulder and are fully trained in the art of combat, disarming and neutralizing an opponent as well as defusing a potentially dangerous conflict and calming down masses. Seniors are also the first lines of defense against foreign armies invading their territory and are assigned to protect important individuals.
Clawmaster - Only the most experienced and most respected of all Clawstoppers can ever hope to attain the role of Clawmaster. Clawmasters manage all their subordinates and assigns them on their daily tasks and reports directly to the Tribe leader or Queen. Given the fact most of the tasks required are administrative in nature, Clawmasters can perform their role even if they sustain a crippling injury or suffer from old age.

Other Benefits
Clawstoppers enjoy free Dusk feasting. They also are given their weapons, equipment and other items required for their profession free of charge. Some senior Clawstoppers may also enjoy access to services or items that would normally be attainable only for Nobles or other privileged groups.
Perception
Purpose
Peacekeeping individuals tasked with maintaining order, peace and safety for their own kind. Additionally, they are trained professionally in combat and are the primary task force in case of foreign invasion.
Social Status
Clawstoppers are both revered as well as feared. One would not dare to say out loud anything bad about them in their presence, but whispers of their misdeeds and injustices are oftentimes shared in areas where the poor feel neglected or dissatisfied. That said, when their services are needed, even those dissatisfied will seek out their help.
Demographics
At around 8%. Fire dragons and Diurnal Gryphons are an exception, all healthy and capable individuals go through the basic Clawstopper training in their youth with only the more talented continuing their training.

Workplace
Clawstopper hall is a place where many individuals go through on any day of the week. Clawmaster within assigns tasks in the morning to his/her subordinates and afterwards deals with visitors, Purveyors, Wingbinders, and locals that seek the services of his subordinates.
It is sometimes connected with a Training range, a field constructed with obstacles where young and old Clawstoppers train to keep themselves in shape when currently not on an assignment. Aside from training, it may oftentimes be used to host competitions.
Prisons are generally located on the tallest mountains or in an underground areas. Prisoners located in high prisons have their wings bound together so that they cannot escape without tumbling down to their doom. Prisoners in underground areas are held with little to no access to sunlight and their escape route barred out. Depending on how serious the crime is, nature of punishment and length of imprisonment may wary.
Provided Services
Protection of individuals, escort, arrest, guarding of precious items or restricted areas, elimination of criminals or Witless ones.
Dangers & Hazards
Uncooperative individuals may prove to be a hazard to the operations of Clawstoppers, but the greatest danger lies in war - as battles and raids upon enemy territory are rarely without casualties.

Areas with much military conflict may have loose requirements and field more, but less trained individuals. Generally, there's always a place for more Clawstoppers.
Legality
Impersonating oneself as a Clawstopper is illegal and potentially may lead to long-term imprisonment or death sentence. Clawstoppers may decide to hire outside help to help with their investigation and in this case, they may be given some of their privileges.
