Coahuatepat
Costal city in the tropical rainforest on the eastern coast of Emirate of Mabaha . It rests on Huetzcani Bay , and marks the end of sea routes stretching along the northern Kan Federation and coast of Chima .
Unlike all other cities of the Emirate, Coahuatepat architecturally and culturally is more related to Chima, and is a throwback to a long-forgotten expansion of the Cold Ones's empire. Stepped pyramids dominate the landscape, and necromantic rites, considered evil and shunned in the rest of Mabaha are normal here. While the garrison shuns undead soldiers, some of the noble families maintain staff guardians of honored intelligent undead.
It is rumored that some of the ruling families are headed by liches that have maintained their influence for generations, but of course no right minded member of the Emirate would believe such superstitious prattle....
