Plexsteel

Plexsteel is a very strong and lightweight metallic alloy consisting of several elements combined into a molecular web.   The word Plexsteel is a portmanteau of Poly Latticed Elemental Cross Steel.   The alloy is created by a layering method of several elemental metals, ceramics, carbon, and nitrogen. The lattice is woven and layered on top of each other to provide strength and rigidity in varying levels as the application calls for it. Uses of Plexsteel vary widely as one can alter its properties depending on his the lattice is woven.   Ingots of Plexsteel have a surprising lack of mass when holding them.   When molding ingots into new objects, the molecular structure of the material is unwound and rewound into the new shape using the Nanoconstruction process instead of the ancient method of heating and forming metals.
