Airginas

Airginas has faced economic hardship in recent decades due to the bad financial decisions of its nobility. This was on top of a couple of centuries of attacks by various monsters from both land and sea. To reinvigorate the economy the royal family sold a large section of its northern land to Nassos cutting the city-state off from The Great Fresh Sea. Since the sea-monster attacks had weakened the navy and port defense this dependency on port trade Airginas is besieged by pirates.
The city of Airginas rests on Cetacean Lake in the center of land which has isolated the rulers from the troubles on the coast.
