Kalashtar

Kalastars were once humans and still maintain their human appearance. What sets them apart from humans is their curious relationship to the plane of dreams. Kalastar do not dream like humans but walk the plane of dreams freely with their dream spirit, Quori, guide. They have limited telepathy and stronger minds than the average humanoid.

Civilization and Culture

History

Kalashtar are said to have been given their power by Hypnos as a blessing in order to help others interpret the dreams granted to them. Precisely how or why this blessing came to be is unknown. Many Kalastar do worship Hypnos and serve as dream interpreters for the common man. However, as time has passed since the original blessing there are many more Kalashtar that have forged their own path.
