Cerylin
A mysterious phenomena of natrually crystalized spirit magic. They are made in different forms: Cerylite and Cerynite. Cerylin is the mother of the two. It is very dense in spirit magic and potentially dangerous, which is why this crystal is very much sought over - even hunted down if the wrong people know who has one for its potent power. It is the only thing in the world that can recycle its own magic, like an eternal spring.
In that same vein, it is very rare to find.
A single Cerylin shard can be found and can be sold for a high price. It is not as powerful as its mother, but it can last longer than easier finds of minor spirit magic replenishers like: Moonstone, Waterstone, Sunstone and Starstone. These stones are best used when a manifestation is tied (fusion) to one of these stones or a cerylin shard, so if the wielder forgets to dissolve their manifestation (whatever the item is they create), it breaks the stone instead of killing them, and if it's fused to a cerylin shard, the shard simply disappears as also the manifestation made by spirit magic.
Manifestation
Cerylite & Cerynite
Cerylite appears at random as a gate to another place in the world. The frame work consists of cerylite while the face is either transparent, reflects another place in the world, or reflects what is in that individual's heart. Cerylite is clear and near transparent, so it can be easy to miss.
Cerynite creates in the same way as Cerylite, but holds a darker shade than Cerylite, and is easy to see. This is where Abominations appear. This one holds its own which means only those of the world can go through them or out.
It is not known how they form or why they do what they do. Once they are seen and interacted with, they disappear shortly after. One would be wise when choosing to step through the cerylite gates.
Localization
Cerylite is more common in the Faeding Vales than any other place in the world. This makes for easy transportation, unless a more immediate destination is desired...
