Creation of Mirizel
"And after their labors, the Chaimor gave to their children all of creation. The races explored Mirizel, learning, and enjoying the paradise the Chaimor had given to them. With joy, they built the city of Iraeth. The city was dedicated in all its majesty to the Lights, for their creation and the gifts they had been given. And the Three were filled with joy."
Summary
The Chaimor, also known as the Three or the Lights, create the world of Mirizel using their power. They then proceed to create the Xylen, Viela, and Humans and give them free rein in the world. In response, the people build the great city of Ireath and dedicate it to the Chaimor. But one of the Three's created Nalhesh, Erebus, turns against the Chaimor. Erebus and his followers are cast out of the city which sparks a great conflict. The Three win the battle but leave the material world, leaving their spirits to guide the path of mortals.
Historical Basis
The city of Ireath lies in a ruined state on the continent of Runnoth. It is a favorite spot of pilgrims and historians, who both agree that the city was built by an ancient collaboration of the races. The subject of the city's destruction and the existence of Withers is still in debate. There have been instances of a "wither" causing havoc such as Morkorath's Rampage but the nonreligious have dismissed the individual as an extremely powerful magic-user.
