General Summary

1490 DR - Winter - 22, Hammer (1) - Thay, The Doomvault

• The Chosen rescue an elf lady with two souls, one of them evil and one is good, she seems to be some sort of druid, and looks possibly related to Llewellyn, but the altar seems to be draining something from her.
• Yasen is able to undo the runes by removing them in reverse order and they bandage the elf and allow her to tag along.
• In the next room, a frozen room of yetis and more red wizards question their presence.  Xifor and Huden try to trick them with lies, but it seems to have no impact and they realize that any presence here in the temples is likely assumed to be intruders.
• Huden notices the red wizard is about to attack but attacks first, unfortunately Xifor and Huden are maimed in the start, but the team pulls together to take down the remaining research team and creatures.  The elf is murdered by the wizards as a threat during the combat.  Oudman takes her soul without asking.
• There's a humanoid in the shrine, but it's revealed to be a wight, and they have to destroy it.  
• Huden is drained from the wraiths in the room, so they return to the healing pool at risk of further discovery.
• Returning to the Temples, they find a room with a floor covered in blood, and a very dark room full of shadows and shrines.
• The party enters the blood room and the evoker attacks immediately, the crew is heavily damaged by the psychic waves in this room but survives.
• They move to the next area and Huden uses a shatter to destroy the temple and kill the halfling inside.  After a couple attacks, the necromancer in this room surrenders and explains the temples are absorbing souls to make Szass Tam a god.  The Vault was something else before, but was turned into the phylactery vault
• Exploring further, they spot someone familiar named Menneck in the next room (who they saw when first entering the portal at the Blood Citadel), and in speaking to their red wizard rebel advisor Syranna, they learn he will defect if his charm can be broken, as he is on their side.  Lucyan dispelled the charm, and the crew assaults the dread warriors just before the local lich can take control of them.  Menneck takes control of the flesh golem and orders it to stop.
• The crew tries to deface the temple but fails a number of times and decides to move on.
