Throughout her whole childhood she worked as an assistant to the temple of Lady Merthicz. Eventually she became a religious leader as a young adult. After her great grandmother died, she assumed leadership of the Aese Serme village, stepping down from her role as a religious leader.

Motivation
Though she’s expected to keep her village isolated at all costs, she dreams of being able to open up the village to the world, and forge new connections with outsiders. Her friendship with Hyal that eventually led to them marrying only furthered her ambitions, and with the permission of Lady Merthicz was able to allow limited visitation from outsiders.

History
The two met officially when Hyal was a young adult. She knew of his deeds, and wanted his help in giving a proper funeral for her father as no other men in the village really wanted to, viewing him as a traitor because he became a dark elf. After the funeral, the two became very close as they shared similar beliefs, especially in regards to opening up relationships with outsiders.
Wealth & Financial state
She’s in grave debt to the kingdom because of Highking Rive, who heavily fined her village because of her involvement in the Human-Ivierae War. Highking Riverzh had waived the fines, but wasn’t able to pay her back as her reign was so short. Highking Gyala is slowly paying her back, though it’s difficult when most of the resources are going into funding for handling this mysterious serial killer. He was able to pay off 50% of what she paid thankfully, but it’s still not enough for her village to recover.
