Kuhldor Clans

All the mountain dwarf clans are part of the Kuhldor Clans, but decisions are made by the leading clan and its head. Currently, this is the Silverstone Clan led by Oloric Silverstone.

Structure

Every one hundred years, all of the Clans come together in Kuhldor and vote on which clan will lead for the next century. This selection is usually based on which clan is the most successful and the wealthiest, due to the importance of craftsmanship within the mountain dwarf culture.

Territories

The Clans govern the entirety of the Spines, as nearly every city located within the range is made up of almost entirely mountain dwarves.
Some of the smaller mountain ranges such as the Frey Peaks and Driz Mountains are also technically under the rule of the Kuhldor Clans, but they tend to self govern due to their distance from the main clans.

Religion

The majority of the clans offer worship to Arasil and Ydros, due to their tendency toward craftsmanship and smithing.
A small sect of the dwarves in Kuhldor also worship Ota, due to the Crystalline Core's resemblance to moonlight and in hopes of preventing accidents in the darkness of the mines.
