Kuhldor
The capital city of the mountain dwarves is named after the kingdom itself - Kuhldor. It is a tiered underground city, carved from the stone and dominated by an immense, bioluminescent crystal stalactite that hangs down through all five tiers.
Crystalline Core
Known by many as the physical and spiritual center of the city, this massive spear of crystal runs through each of the five tiers. It gives off a pale light similar to moonlight through the strange bioluminescent moss that grows across its surface, and acts as the main source of light for the entirety of Kuhldor.Demographics
The capital of the Spines is the most diverse of any of the Kuhldor dwarf cities - though its population is still at least eighty percent mountain dwarves. Other smallfolk races, such as halflings, gnomes, and hill dwarves also make their homes here, and there is a small percentage of orcs and wood elves that have made Kuhldor their homes as well.
Government
Kuhldor is home to the main clan halls for each dwarven family and acts as the seat of government for the Kuhldor Clans. When the clans come together every century to determine a new ruling clan, Kuhldor is where they meet.
Infrastructure
Kuhldor is made up of five tiers stacked on top of one another, with the first tier being the largest and the remaining tiers decreasing in size as they go lower. Each one has a specialty - such as the Entertainment District, or the Workshops.
Non-dwarves rarely venture below the third tier, as the lower tiers are dedicated to the Clan halls and housing.
