Borin Cyman
Borin Cyman
Borin is almost destitute, and he has had to sell his property in the City of Coranan, and most of his remaining funds to petition the Thardic Republic Senate for confirmation of ownership of his former family Tin Mine. This mine was seized by invaders from the Kingdom of Rethem in 708TR.
His appeal was successful and the Order of the Eight Demons, the current holders, were forced to hand over ownership. Likely he will have to take a loan from one of the wealthier families and become a client unless he can turn things around quickly. If he does not put the mine into operation within 6 months a clause from the senate ownership ruling is that the mine will to fall to the state and be available for purchase by another party.

Personal history
708TR - His family lands and Tin Mine was stolen when the Order of the Red Shadows of Hepra invaded Themeson. Control was then passed over to the Order of the Eight Demons after a religious dispute. Only he and his older brother Oric survived, and they fled to the City of Coranan.
720TR - Oric was assassinated likely at the order of the Eight Demons. Borin was lucky to escape.
721TR - Themseson is retuned to the Thardic Republic, and Borin successfully petitions the Senate and the rights to the mine have been returned to him. However, if he does not start mining operations, and therefore paying taxes, the rights will return to the state.
