Codex of Balefire and Blood

The Codex of Balefire and Blood is a supplementary text to the more famous Balefire Chronicle specifically describing the demon summoning rituals of Ilpylen, the First Prophet of Agrik.

Most of the rituals contain Blood or Human Sacrifice, and the most complex are designed to summon powerful Fire Elementals and the Demonic V’hîr up to and including Agriks eight demonic Sons.

There are partially translated copies covering specific summoning ritual in circulation among the priesthood of Agrik.

Background

Authorship is attributed to Karlag the Conjurer, one of Ilpylen’s eight disciples around 1400 BT.

Legacy

A very rare document, with the treasured few copies held by various Agrikian sects.
