A black, red-eyed cat, former favourite pet of the goddess Halea, now spy for Naveh.

Dekejis

Dekejis is a demonic servant of Naveh, who appears as a black, glowing red-eyed cat.

He was once a favorite pet of the Goddess Halea, but Naveh stole it blinding and castrating it. After Halea cast Dekejis out, Naveh took him in, granting it the red eyes with which it can perceive heat and see in darkness. Naveh lets Dekejis devour the eyes and genitals of mortals promising that they would restore his own lost organs, at some point in the future. Dekejis eagerly consumes both delicacies.

Humans who lack one or the other are said to bear the Stigmata of Dekejis, or the Curse of Naveh.
